Morling College is proud to present PLUNGE, a specialised one year “gap-year” of focused biblical and spiritual engagement for 18–23 year-olds looking to journey deeper into life and faith. The program offers young adults knowledge, spiritual support and guidance, while opening the doors for ministry and a strong understanding of God and the Bible.

The Diploma stream can be paid upfront (according to the fee schedule on our Fees page), or FEE-HELP is available for this course*. Application for FEE-HELP is taken upon enrolment.

PLEASE NOTE – the cross-cultural mission trip is not completely covered under the FEE-HELP assistance and so the student must pay this amount up front prior to the second semester.

As a full-time student you may be eligible for Youth Allowance.

Diploma of Christian Studies (PLUNGE)

Course Description

The Diploma of Christian Studies gives students an overview of the sources and content of the Christian story and message, and provides training that emphasises application of this story to life in the world. The course is based on disciplines by which knowledge of God is developed and articulated, and applied to guide Christian practice. It will also provide an approach to integrating this understanding with particular occupational and/or life interests.

Entry Requirements

Candidates are normally admitted upon satisfactory completion of year 12 in an Australian school system or equivalent with an ATAR of 65 or above; or by demonstrated academic suitability for the course.

Credit Points

8 Units (96 credit points) at AQF level 5 and above.

Plunge is 3 full days a week at Morling Campus during each semester.
