Master of Missional Leadership

Course Description

If you are a leader of a church, para-church organisation, or any other institution and you desire to reorient your organisation around a missional framework, then the Master of Missional Leadership (MML) is for you!

MML Course Units will be taught by our talented Morling lecturers as well as international scholars and practitioners. MML is focused on training and equipping practitioners. One key and unique component is a major project which allows you, the student, to design and implement a model for missional formation in your own organisation. If you are looking to keep developing as a cutting-edge leader within a challenging and stimulating environment, then think about doing the MML.

As part of the MML you will be required to complete 2 elective units and a major project using action research in the field.

Entry Requirements

This degree is open to those who hold a previous degree in any field at AQF level 7 or above (such as a Bachelor degree or higher) plus a completed higher education award in ministry or theology of a minimum volume of learning of 1 year full-time or equivalent; and also to persons who hold a qualification at AQF level 7 or above in Ministry or Theology (such as the ACT’s Bachelor of Ministry or Bachelor of Theology or higher). Consideration will also be given to other factors such as practical experience, maturity and motivation, and the likelihood of satisfactory completion of the academic requirements of the Course.

Credit Points

8 Units (48 credit points at 700-level, including a mandatory research project). Units are 6cp.

Course Duration

1.5 years full-time (up to 6 years part-time). Students should normally expect to complete this award in no less than 2 calendar years.
