EDL542 Understanding Innovation in Schools

Students are involved in critically evaluating the appropriateness of a change or innovation within an educational context including the underlying assumptions and the effectiveness of the proposed outcomes. The unit enables students to formulate specific strategies for the initiation of innovation, recognising the range of objective and subjective meanings that are held by various stakeholders. In addition, students design a comprehensive plan from a biblical perspective for the implementation of a change strategy or innovation for a particular school situation.
