Introduction to Christian Models of Counselling

Modern counselling practices trace their origins back to the tradition of psychoanalysis. In this module students will be encouraged to develop and embrace a biblical worldview on human nature and personality, and become familiar with and critically evaluate the Christian models of counselling, together with their theories and methods. Students will be encouraged to develop an integrated Christian perspective and understanding of counselling practice.
