To start the semester off strong we're back with Orientation.
Please read the information below carefully and register at the bottom of the page.
We will be holding Orientation on the 28th of July at the campus closest to you.
We encourage - where possible - to attend Orientation in person. Our 3 campuses, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane will be hosting Orientation in person.
Only our Sydney Campus will be livestreaming their program.
For all 3 orientation locations arrival is at 9am for a 9.30 start, you'll get the chance to see the college and acquaint yourself with where your lectures will be as well as our Student Services team who will be able to help answer questions you may still have about studying with us.
For those joining us in person we'll provide lunch for you, this will be a chance to meet some of your fellow new students and get to know those who will likely be in class with you!

We'll be hosting 2 Navigating Moodle sessions - these are a deep dive into Moodle and how to set yourself up for success online. Please note these DO NOT replace Orientation on the 28th of July.

The week before classes start we're offering 2 workshops for our Bible and Theology and Counselling, Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care students.
We will be hosting 2 Academic Workshops from our Sydney Campus, and via livestream.
Day 1 Essay Template Workshop:
Tuesday 22 July from 2-4pm (AEST) Sydney Campus + Online
This workshop will introduce basic Microsoft Word program short cuts for word processing. It will include setting up an essay template according to Morling requirements, which you can use again and again. If your computer skills are rusty, this workshop is for you. (Bring a laptop to class or work on your computer at home as you attend via zoom. An extra monitor at home would be beneficial. The use of Microsoft Word is a Morling requirement).
Day 2 Essay Research and Referencing Workshop
Wednesday 23 July from 1.30-5.30pm (AEST) Sydney Campus + Online
This workshop will guide you through a step-by-step approach to planning, researching, writing, editing and submitting your Morling essays. Online tools will be introduced to save you time finding scholarly readings, and authentic student essays will be used to model good essay structure, summarising evidence to support your arguments, and referencing correctly to avoid plagiarism. Navigating the resources available to you in Morling Moodle, our learning management system, will also be covered.
