Sydney Campus

The Ministry and Learning Centre Auditorium hosts large events such as our Annual Graduation, Conferences and Church Services (including Wedding & Funeral Services). It has been designed to accommodate up to 300 people (for Half-Auditorium) and 600 people (Full Auditorium) onsite, with the possibility of livestreaming webinars and conferences for those who are unable to attend physically.

The Auditorium also has a full sound, AV & lighting system to facilitate events with live music and lightning. If access to the full sound/AV desk is required, only Morling College staff are permitted to do this, at an additional cost of $50 per staff member per hour. The actual number of AV staff will be dependent upon the set up required. Upon initial enquiry, hirers will be asked to provide an outline of their AV needs for this purpose. A site visit is highly recommended for hirers to gauge the use of the space.

All of our classrooms feature permanently installed AV equipment to assist with presentations including desktops, data projectors and screens. Speakers and a wireless microphone are also available and included in the room hire costs.

A site visit is highly recommended for hirers to gauge the setup of the space.
If hirers do not wish to bring their own device, guest access to the wall-mounted Interactive Screens is available on request. 

Multi-Purpose Rooms 1 & 2 can be used individually or combined together to form a larger space.
(Please note that the 2 moveable display screens in these rooms cannot be connected together.)

Our meeting rooms are located on level 3 of the Ministry & Learning Centre.
Users can connect their own device to the monitors in the meeting rooms by using the adapters provided in the room.

The MBC Activity Centre is managed by the Macquarie Baptist Church and is a multipurpose space for Small Group Activities, Kid’s Playgroup, and other MBC initiatives.

Perth Campus

The John Olley Centre (JOC) was built in 2015 and contains three lecture rooms that can be used individually, or opened up for larger combined conferencing spaces. This space is used for lectures, events and two different churches use these spaces on Sundays. With all rooms combined, 200 people can sit conference-style.

JOC Kitchenette

JOC Kitchenette

Each lecture room features permanently installed AV equipment to assist with presentations including large touch-screen TVs, speakers and microphone, as well as built-in cameras to assist with video conferencing. The kitchenette is located in the foyer of the JOC, and has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, hot water urn and crockery and cutlery. It is perfect to serve tea and coffee, morning or afternoon tea and supper out of.

The whole John Olley Centre provides modern conferencing facilities for up to 200 people, and can be configured in a number of ways to cater for a variety of needs.

Our dining room can seat up to 50 people. There is a kitchen attached to the dining room with an oven, fridge, freezer and commercial dishwasher, as well as crockery and cutlery.
