EM010 - Aid & Development

As Christians, our compassion drives us to help others. How do we do that well?

It’s easy for those of us with privilege, power, and possessions to try and ‘fix’ others, but sometimes our helping can do more harm than good. In this subject we consider how work alongside communities, understanding complex needs and developing they assets that God has given them.

As we study together, you’ll hear from practitioners and field workers contributing their experience and wisdom. At then end, you’ll be much better placed to display the love of Christ to all sorts of people.

Pre/Co-requisite Units:

EM010-712: 96cps of study, including 36cps at AQF level 6.

Unit Exclusions: 

Prior to 2020, this unit content was delivered under the unit code EM410/EM610.
