This unit begins with an introduction to the nature, purposes and methods of Christian theology.
The remainder of the unit content focuses on:
- how we know God (exploring the concepts of revelation and inspiration, the place and nature of Scripture and natural theology, and the issues raised by reason, authority and experience) and
- how God relates to humankind and the rest of the creation (including an exploration of the doctrines of creation and providence, the doctrine of humanity and the doctrine of sin and evil).

TH001-712: 96cps of study, including 36 cps at AQF level 6
